The women’s championship side get off to a 3-0 win vs Bradford uni 

So we went into this season off a back of finishing 3rd last season. Wanting to push on this season we are now moving from a 2 setter system to a single setter system.This is more pressure on the setters and more to think about.Katie Lamb did a great job with this and got stronger as the game went on. We also had new players who have joined the squad making there debuts Claire, Augustina and Isabella 

All 3 new women did great solid serving, really committed and played with a smile on their faces. Great addition to the squad.The game we started a bit slow and was making our own mistakes. As soon as we cut out the mistakes out we then showed what we can do. Strong attacks, great cover and good shape meaning a positive 3-0 win.

MVP was Claire charre ! Claire is new to club but has settled in really well and is super keen to improve. In the game Claire had some great hits and good general play. She is only going to get better and has got off to a great start
