Krista brings height, power and adaptability to the team — causing the opposition problems when playing both outside &amp; middle, while staying solid in serve receive. She pushes the squad in training, always first to offer to hit at defenders (and never holding back). From driving to Sheffield for the 1st game without knowing most of us, to quickly becoming a huge part of the team, Krista has proved herself a brilliant and fun teammate and a fantastic addition.

Annie absolutely loves the game and her dedication shows — barely missing a single match or training session all season. She’s so committed she even kept playing with a nosebleed, toilet paper up her nose and all! One of our strongest servers, she can flip a set on its head with unstoppable serving runs, and she’s always willing to step in as setter, doing a fantastic job. Off the court, she’s helped with match organisation and supported the club by reffing too. A true competitor, a team player, and supportive member of the club.

Really pleased to give this award to Rosy this season as she has shown huge progress in her all round game. Her back-court play and serving have come on massively thanks to her hard work and commitment. She's also ventured into setting this season to support the championship team. Another really committed player, playing for both the prem and champ teams. As the number one scorer, she regularly helped out all our other teams — a fantastic contribution on and off the court. A real team player and brilliant club member..



Womens Prem/Champ Awards 24/25

Chloe has been very committed to the team last season and showed how much she has improved in her game by getting picked to play for Yorkshire under 15s at the inter regionals. Very proud how far Chloe has come.&nbsp;

Izzy again has been a big part of how well the team has done last season. She brings a lot of noise and energy to the team but also seems to win us points when needed.&nbsp;I am looking forward to seeing how far they can both go and can’t think of a better pair to win it.

Sam has become a vital player last season for the men’s championship. He is the first name on the team sheet and you can see his commitment when he plays. He has also helped out the club as much as possible and feels like he is now also a big part of the club not just the team. He has a bright future ahead of him and looking forward to seeing him progress. 

Junior of the year 24/25

Charlie had a great start to the season being thrown in at the deep end setting for the prem in his first season. He took on the role with a great attitude and left everything on the court. Charlie showed his skill and ability to perform under pressure when needed which made him a team favourite among the players. Always willing to listen and learn and try new things, unfortunately Charlie picked up an injury towards the end of the season and his presence was missed by all. When the time came the team picked the their player and we couldn’t agree more)

Pawel was the only player to not miss a game and when asked was always willing to lend a hand and help the club. Pawel showed his steady hands on the court with a great pass in from most balls and he showed a consistency the entire team relied on. Pawel never lets the moment get to him whether it’s the first or the last point. Pawel is a solid all round player who embodies the spirit of the club with his approach to everything he does.

What a year for this young man, starting his first year of competitive volleyball he has developed so much in such a short space of time. Alfie started wanting to be outside but soon found his calling in the middle. His development has been incredible with his fast attack in the champs earning him a place in the prem team. Once he got a taste for this he has never looked back only getting better and stronger with his receive and reading of the game which has led to a place this year in our NVL team. We are all keen to see how far he can go with his abilities and he will keep the rest of us pushing as we support him well done Alfie great effort.(Photos to be adde

Very proud how far he has come from where he first started and is moving on this season to chase playing in the nvl super league. He has the teams full backing and wish him all the best !

He is a key player to attack pushing the team to levels that very high. Not only is he big part of he team he is also a big part of the club 

Most improved player: Tristan Tristan last season had loads of power and ￼ potential. It was about getting he timing right and blocking improved. He was a great lad to coach and by the end of the season was like a different player. He has now moved back to USA and I hope he continues with his volleyball. Looking forward to hearing how he does.
